ThinkPad 220
Overview
A small Japanese-market ThinkPad built around a low-power 16 MHz 386SL, a 7.7-inch monochrome display, 2 MB of RAM and an 80 MB disk.
Historical context
Its modest hardware served portability: the historical account describes about an hour of operation on six AA alkaline batteries, with an optional NiCd pack. The following 230Cs extended this local mobile-computing line to Windows.
